Wintergreen Boxwood, Buxus microphylla var. Korean 'Wintergreen', is a broadleaf evergreen. Place a few of these for a short hedge along your front walkway, or perhaps just one for a lovely accent at the border of your flower bed. You can even try your hand at pruning one of these amazing Wintergreen Boxwoods into an adorable shape to catch the eye of guests and neighbors. There are so many uses for this versatile little evergreen!

WINTERGREEN BOXWOODS

Kaleidoscope Abelia is one of the most colorful, eyectaching ornamental plants in our gardens - it really packs a wallup! It is an exceptionally durable and astonishingly beautiful evergreen shrub with constantly swirling color throughout all the seasons on evergreen foliage. It displays variegated bright yellow and green foliage during the warm season that then turns outstanding shades of red and deep orange during the winter months. The foliage does not bleach in the sun. Small white flowers produced throughout summer and into fall are mildly fragrant, attract butterflies, and are a nice contrast to the foliage. It has shown excellent resistance to drought, disease, insects and deer.

The Oakleaf hydrangea is a dramatic, white-blooming shrub with four seasons of interest. It blooms best in areas where summers are somewhat hot, but it is winter hardy farther north than the macrophylla (mophead). A tremendous advantage of the Oakleaf is that it can thrive in much dryer locations than its cousins. Mopheads struggle in sandy soil, but the Oakleaf hydrangeas thrive with very little attention.

From the same cross that produced the original Knockout Rose, The Double Knockout Rose represents the next generation in the family of Knockout Roses. The full double flowers look just like a classic rose. What it gained in beauty, it did not lose in performance. It is as resistant to black spot as the famous original and is slightly winter hardy.

Cleopatra is an excellent choice for many landscape design elements; from borders and pathways to location challenges such as shady areas and slopes. A clumping liriope, Cleopatra's foliage spans 15 inches and is darker and wider than other varieties. In the summer, lovely lavender spikes elegantly rise above the dark green foliage.
